Do a cleanse every evening

By the end of the day your skin as accumulated dirt and pollution, which will play havoc with the health and well being of your skin unless it’s washed off. 

Never use hot water on your face

Every time you use hot on your face you’re stripping your skin of natural oil and possibly damaging fragile capillaries and causing redness

Use a moisturiser right for you

Whether you have oily, dehydrated or dry skin it still needs protection from the elements and products to help nourish and restore balance.

Exfoliate the dead surface cells

This is one of the best ways to instantly improve the overall look and feel of your skin. Do it once a week after cleansing, before moisturising.

Wear sun protection daily

Applying sunscreen not only reduces the risk of skin cancer it also helps prevent pigmentation, redness and premature ageing. 

Look after your gut

The better your gut health is the clearer and brighter your skin is likely to be, so eat a balanced diet, drink water and stay regular.

Drink in moderation

Alcohol in excess can take its toll on your liver and kidneys and increase the chances of blotchiness in your complexion. 

Move your body regularly

Being physically active will promote nourishing blood flow to your organs including your brain, muscles and skin. Walk and talk or go alone.

Reduce your sugar intake

Instead of thinking of sugar as being something you must have, remind yourself it’s not serving you in any way, shape or form, including your skin. 

Use minimal makeup

If you have problem areas of pigmentation or redness, learn how to blend concealer or cover-up so it looks natural.
