Nothing ruins your daily coffee more than spilling it on your favourite shirt.

Thankfully, there’s an easy way to have your clothes looking like new again.

All you need is three ingredients that can most likely be found around your home.

What you’ll need:

2 tablespoons of laundry detergent

2 tablespoons of vinegar

2 two tablespoons of water

Method:

Combine your ingredients to make a paste. Using a toothbrush apply the mixture over the stain. Rinse the area and line dry.

For really stubborn stains:

If the stain has disappeared, you're ready to wash. If not, apply rubbing alcohol to the area with a white sponge. Work from the stain edges to the centre then mix one quart of warm water with one tablespoon of enzyme pre-soak product. Let the clothing soak for 30 minutes. If the stain is gone, you're ready to wash. If the stain remains, laundry the clothing in chlorine or oxygen bleach that is safe for the fabric.
