Tonight, Pete and Melissa are visiting a special house that was designed and built around the only wall left standing after a freak accident burned down a family home in 2012. That wall was made from rammed earth and its resilience inspired them to rebuild the home. But they didn’t just rebuild their old home, they took the opportunity to make some positive changes to the house. Their extensive use of plants not only helped the healing process it also helps to seamlessly bridge the gap between outdoors and indoors. Pete and Melissa take a tour of the house and garden to see the many ways this creative family have improved their lives after their loss.
