This is the hack that will change the way you vacuum

It's a game changer. - by Rebecca Lowrey Boyd
  • 21 Aug 2018

If you struggle to properly clean tight spots with your vacuum, a common kitchen item – that you usually throw away – will change everything.

Despite the plethora of attachments, a regular vacuum can only get so far with accessing small areas like window tracks or down the side of car seats.

However, the inner cardboard tube of roll of paper towels can be used to make a DIY attachment.

Simply slide the tube on to the end of the hose and squeeze the end to fashion a slimline nozzle.

Use it to fit into any tight space you want to vacuum, like sliding door tracks, crevices in the car, mouldings and tight areas in and around decks.

Like the best hacks it's cheap and simple.
