Hack revealed
Posting on the Woolworths Little Garden/ Discovery Garden Facebook group, the woman revealed her hack.
"For anyone wanting a quick easy way of getting little garden pots... If you order online you actually get a bonus pot for every 10 fruit/veg items in the cart," the shopper Alana said.
"I ordered 36 single carrots, 34 mandarins and 3 lemons spending only $30.42 and got 8 plants (73 fruit/veg items = 7 pots $30 spent = 1).
"I would of (sic) done more but 36 is the maximum total of any single fruit and veg item online and didn’t want to start going up to higher-priced items so will just do another couple of $30 orders.
"The bonus still applies if you do it the $15 way too but much better value to just buy single items and get the bonus ones that way.
"My whole family are being gifted carrots and mandarins today!
"I've done multiple orders between $30-$40 receiving anywhere from 8-11 pots at a time from purely buying single-priced items only and nothing else in my cart."
The promotion – which features 24 plants to collect and grow at home – promotes gardening for young children.
