Winter themed activities to do these school holidays
With winter nearly here, it’s time to start planning what to do with the kids these school holidays.
Here are four fun winter themed activities you can do:
Giant ice slide – Melbourne
Southbank will play host to the ultimate winter playground, with a 36-metre long ice slide being setup at the foot of the highest Southern Hemisphere vantage point, Eureka Skydeck.
The kids will have a blast zipping down the ice slide on specially designed inflatable tubes.
A portion of the proceeds raised will also go towards not-for-profit organisation ,Variety: The Children’s Charity.

Novotel ice rank rooftop – Wollongong
Who can resist a winter wonderland with amazing views of the ocean?
North Wollongong will be doing just that by hosting an amazing rooftop ice-skating experience.
Cute penguins will also be on hand to guide skating first timers around the rink.
The ice rink will be placed at the top of Novotel’s rooftop in July.
