Tuxedo strawberries

Tuxedo strawberries
Prep: 10 Minutes - Serves 12

Ingredients

12 large strawberries, washed and dried

200g white chocolate, chopped and melted

150g dark chocolate, chopped and melted

Method

  1. Dip strawberries into white chocolate up to the hull, then set of a tray lined with baking paper until the chocolate is set. 

  2. Dip each strawberry twice into dark chocolate at an angle, to create a deep V-shape on the front of each berry to create the tuxedo jacket. Return to tray. Refrigerate until set. 

  3. Load remaining dark chocolate into a piping bag fitted with a 1mm round nozzle. Pipe 2 small joined triangles at the top of the strawberry on the white chocolate to create a bow tie. Then pipe 3 small dos underneath to make buttons. Allow the chocolate to set.
