Top 10 recipes Australians are searching for on Google
Google has revealed the most searched recipe by Australians online, and it appears we have a soft spot for pancakes! The ‘most searched’ queries are the most popular terms for 2016, ranked in order by volume of searches.
In the ‘what is’ searched list, ‘what is all purpose flour’ came in at number 6 and ‘what is gluten’ was number 9. If you're curious what the number 1 search in this category was, it was ‘what is my IP address’.
Turning back to the ‘most searched recipes’ list, seven of the ten recipes were sweet (although crepes can go either way). Clearly, Australians do enjoy their desserts!
So without further ado, here is the full list, with our favourite recipe to accompany each category. Bon appetite!
