“After 6 months of research and development at UNSW, we created a ‘minimal viable product’ and launched it at farmer's markets across Sydney,” says Adam. “We spent six months doing 2-3 markets every weekend until we were convinced we had a product that people loved and would continue using.”
Today, ekoWorx has more than 200,000 customers in Australia and 18 staff in their Sydney office.
“ekoWorx has evolved from a universal cleaning solution to a home cleaning system (including mops, cloths and other ancillary products) that makes home cleaning simpler, safer and more effective,” says Adam. “In September, we'll be launching dishwashing tablets and laundry pods. Both products - like our surface cleaner - will be independently eco certified, allergy friendly, fragrance free and most important of all, highly effective!”
Formulated by Dr Leigh Aldous of UNSW, ekoWorx products are independently eco certified by GECA, are lab tested by AMS Laboratories in Australia and have hundreds of excellent reviews on Facebook. Their Instagram account is a testament to the versatility and effectiveness of the ecoWorx product.
EkoWorx will be taking their brand internationally this year, and due to international trademark conflicts they will be rebranding to Koh, eventually transitioning to a new website and domain in August 2018, at koh.com. Until then, you can pick up their products from ekoworxstore.com.
