Place the toy in a mesh laundry bag and run it through a wash and rinse cycle in cold water. You might want to consider another rinse to make sure all the soap has been removed from your toys.
Caps and hats
Pop them in and run on a short cycle with cold water. If possible, air dry hats on a circular item like an upturned bowl, ensuring it keeps its shape.
Remove the laces and inner soles, washing shoes on the delicate setting of your washing machine. Add some towels to the wash to balance the load and to stop the shoes from banging against the drum.
Place pillows in the wash two at a time on a gentle cycle with warm water - and preferably two rinses. Pop them in the dryer and dry thoroughly.
Your shower curtain can be cleaned in the washing machine along with some towels.
Remove as much dirt and debris from the bag as possible before washing. Pop in a pillowcase or wash bag and set your machine to a gentle cycle with cold water.
Reusable shopping bag
Your reusable shopping bag makes regular trips from the car to the supermarket to your kitchen bench and probably hasn’t been cleaned in a while. These can simply be washed in a normal cycle with your regular washing.
Remember, always check the tags before washing anything to make sure it's safe to put in your washing machine.
