While rumours of a Spice Girls reunion abound, and we’re seeing a resurgence in 90’s pop culture, there’s one exhibition that’s serving up a huge dose of Spice Girls nostalgia in England at the moment, and it’s a must-see for anyone travelling to London or Manchester in August or September this year.
The SpiceUp exhibition opened on July 28 in London at the London Business Design Centre and will move to Manchester Central from August 24 to September 4. The exhibition is a collaborative effort that includes 7000 pieces of merchandise ad 300 wardrobe items borrowed from private collectors, costume and fashion designers.
The exhibition is curated by collector by Liz West, who won a Guinness World Record for her vast personal collection of Spice Girls costume pieces, cassettes, autographed photos and other memorabilia, which are all on display at the exhibit now.
Tickets to SpiceUp: An exhibition about the Spice Girls start at £10 (around AUD$17.50)
