Separating egg can be slippery work – unless you have an empty water bottle handy.

YouTube user, Foodinese, shared the video online showing fans the incredible hack.

Simply crack your eggs into a bowl. Grab your water bottle and squeeze it slightly. Place it over the egg, slowly release your grip and suck the yolk inside.

Since posting, the video has been shared almost 3 million times with many people agreeing the trick is the best thing they’ve seen on YouTube.

“Most useful video I have ever seen on youtube after more than 8 years of Internet experience apart from programming lessons,” one person wrote.

Others offered some tips for anyone struggling to master the trick.

“The trick is to use small mouth bottle (i'm using coke zero smallest bottle).”
