When it comes to breakfast, we’re open to any hacks that help us get fed and out the door in as little time as possible.

This “innovative peanut butter slice hack” claims to do just that.

The tip, shared on Instagram, involves spreading peanut butter on baking paper, rolling it out and freezing it before using it at slices for sandwiches or toast in the morning.

While there is a definite novelty to having peanut butter slices on hand in the freezer, many commenters were quick to point out that spreading your own nutty goodness on bread isn’t that difficult.

“Yeah that doesn't seem like it makes anything easier.... it takes 1 minute to make a PB sandwich. Why does it need a "hack"?” one commenter wrote.

DIY rolled fruit

If rolled peanut butter isn't your thing, this recipe for homemade fruit roll-ups is sure to be a winner with your family.

Watch the video below.

Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups @pankobunny INGREDIENTS: 2 ½ cups fresh fruit (I used strawberry and mango) 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 2 Tbsp sugar STEPS: Line a baking sheet with plastic wrap and spread the mixture evenly onto the baking sheet so that it is 1/8 -1/4 inch-thick. Bake at 170F for 4-6 hours, until the entire surface is dry, but not crunchy. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Use scissors to clean and straighten the edges of the fruit leather, then cut it into strips. Peel the plastic wrap off the back. If desired, place a strip of wax paper on top of the fruit leather, roll it up and secure with some string. #fruitrollups #fruits #homemade
