A lot can be said for the soothing effect a warm cup of tea or coffee can have on a person. That is until you realise your mug is lined with stubborn stains.
While some claim a squirt of bleach will wipe the stain away, others have come up with a friendlier way to keep your mugs clean.
The best part is, you’ve probably already got these items in your cupboard.
What you’ll need:
- Hot water
- Bi-carb soda or vinegar
The first method involves filling your mug up half way with boiling water. Fill the other half up with vinegar. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes before tipping it out and giving a good scrub.
Alternatively, you can mix up a paste of bi-carb soda and water and apply to the surface. Give it a good scrub until the stain has been removed.
