What does the red tip on bananas mean?

It all started 20 years ago, when Australian growers, Frank and Dianne Sciaccia, witnessed the degradation of the Great Barrier Reef and the changes to the ecosystem first-hand. This inspired Frank to develop a new way of farming - one that would help solve the imbalances created by conventional farming methods.
