Built on an old bowling green, the Henley Community Garden is definitely community by name and community by nature. Run by a team of local volunteers who share the workload and share the harvest, it also acts as a fantastic educational tool to the kids of a nearby pre-school who learn about gardening with hands-on experience. Graham also has some handy tips for you to grow you own veggies, regardless of whether you have a garden or not. But while the produce is a great benefit, it’s the connections, new friends and community spirit that really make this garden special.
