Dr Andrew Jacob of Sydney Observatory told The New Daily that at least some of the partial eclipse will be visible if you have a good view of the horizon and the weather conditions remain clear.
The expert also goes on to explain that this partial lunar eclipse is going to be the last visible space event that we’ll get to see from Australia for another few years, until 2021.
A lunar eclipse is when the darkest part of the earth’s shadow passes over the moon, but as this solar event is only a partial eclipse, the moon won’t be entirely covered by the shadow.
