Finished size 50 x 90cm
Gather your supplies
50 x 50cm Spring Mix Mats (2); strong scissors; pliers; 600 x 900 x 25mm black PVC wire mesh mini panel; black cable ties; 40cm faux crows nest ferns (2); 30cm faux ruffle fern; faux echeveria succulents (5); 30cm faux grass plants (4); 25cm faux agave (2); wire or chain for hanging
Step 1 Using plastic lugs on mats, join mats to make greenery panel 50 x 100cm. Using scissors, cut through plastic, trimming 10cm from short side so 50 x 90cm. Lay on work surface, right-side down.
Step 2 Using cutting blade on pliers, snip through mesh panel, 1 wire at a time, trimming to 50 x 90cm. Lay mesh panel on back of greenery panel. Using 28 cable ties, attach mesh panel to greenery at 15 x 15cm intervals. Feed each tie from mesh side through to underneath of greenery, collecting a section of plastic backing, and back up to mesh side, keeping foliage clear.
Step 3 Turn panel right-side up. Beginning with largest plants, arrange asymmetrically. Bend and shape plants to create more natural forms. When happy with arrangement, attach to panel using cable ties, securing through greenery into mesh. Using cutting blade on pliers, trim excess stems. Fill gaps between plants with succulents and grasses, securing to mesh with cable ties.
Step 4 To hang, attach wire or chain across back. Panel can also be hung horizontally.
