Woolworths has returned its popular Bricks collection, this time with a farm theme.
Woolworths Bricks Farm Celebrating Aussie farmers
Woolworths Group Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew Hicks, said: “As Today’s Fresh Food People, it is important that we share and celebrate the role our Aussie farmers play in providing the fresh produce customers enjoy.”
“Woolworths Bricks Farm, made using 100% recycled plastic, has been designed to show the intricate ecosystem of an Australian farm. We hope the second chapter of our Bricks collectable encourages our customers to learn more about where their food comes from through interactive play.”
100% recycled plastic
While the original Woolies collection was made of 80% recycled plastic, the new Bricks Farm collection is made of 100% recycled plastic.
The companys says the Bricks Farmcollection has also been certified by GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia).
Lastly, the supermarket giant is partnering with Tera Cycle to recycle any unwanted bricks that are returned. Just pop them in the dedicated bins in stores. TerraCycle turns Woolworths Bricks Farm bricks into plastic pellets, which can help contribute to making outdoor products such as garden beds, decks, fences and benches.
How many Woolworths bricks are there to collect?
Kids can collect a total of 40 bricks in the promotion. The collection includes a farmer, a beekeeper, a fruit and veg buyer, several farm animals, The Odd Bunch fruit and veg, Macro products, a drone, a chicken coop and fruit trees.
