What size tent should I get?

The size of camping tents are built on a per-person basis. The usual sizes are 1 person, 2 person, 4 person, 6 person and 10 person. Although tent sizes are listed by person, they are often smaller than expected, so it is recommended that you size up, depending on how much space you need. A 4-person tent is perfect for a couple who are in need of extra space, while a family of four can comfortably fit in a 6-person tent.
