Are you the proud parent of an adorable fur-baby? Petbarn is now hosting their second Puppy and Kitten of the Year pet search competition to find the country’s most adorable four-legged friends. Petbarn launched the competition with the goal of celebrating responsible pet parents.
“At this early stage of a pet’s life, it’s crucial that pet parents seek an expert opinion to advise how they can best give young animals a happy and healthy start with their new family,” says Petbarn Area Manager, Candice Birtwistle. “At Petbarn, our team can provide support for new puppy and kitten owners by offering advice on nutrition and teaching Aussies about pet safety, such as how to puppy proof the home. We also have a wide range of services available including puppy training, grooming, and veterinary care for your new furry friend.”
“Giving your new pet proper training, feeding them the right nutrition and giving them the care they need during the first 18-months will result in a well-behaved cat or dog for years to come,” says Greencross Chief Veterinary Officer, Rachel Chay.
Puppy and kitten owners can nominate their pet for Petbarn’s Puppy and Kitten of the Year competition from Monday 1st October until Friday 26th October and during this time, Aussies will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite entry online HERE
By entering an adorable photo of your puppy or kitten on the Petbarn website, Aussie pet parents and their pets have the chance to win the grand prize, a $1,000 Petbarn voucher. One puppy and one kitten will be crowned Australia’s puppy or kitten of the year, which is determined by the entrant who receives the most votes. Petbarn will then choose two additional major prize winners and additional runner up prizes in each state and territory.
