There’s nothing quite as comforting as a cuddle with your furry best friend. Dogs and cats have long been the most popular pets in Australian homes, but due to families now spending more time out of the house at work, running errands, taking kids to weekend sports and countless other tasks, our four-legged friends are spending more time at home alone. This can lead to anxiety, depression and undesirable behaviour from our beloved cats and dogs.
With that in mind, weighted blanket company Neptune Blanket has launched the Marley dog and cat bed that is designed to help canines and felines who suffer from anxiety, sensory issues and struggle to fall asleep.
The bed is designed with contours that massage your precious pet, and hit the spots that encourage calm and restfulness.
The bed is made from a single piece of charcoal-infused memory foam, which means the pet bed can actively fight odours and is anti-bacterial. The Marley dog and cat bed is available is two sizes: small (63x55cm) and large (80x70cm).
And if that isn’t enough to soothe Fido’s fizzled nerves, the brand also produces weighted blankets for dogs and cats with a 100% cotton inner, and both a soft and flat side so it can be used as a blanket and pet mat.
Prices range from $139 – $169.
