Myer opens the largest Harry Potter shop in Australia

Complete with Platform 9 3⁄4 photo opportunity!

Opening just in time for Christmas shopping, Myer has teamed up with Warner Brothers Consumer Products to open Harry Potter at Myer, set to be Australia’s largest Harry Potter concept store, launching on October 18, 2019.

From books and owls to robes and spells, this enchanted store will supply everything you need to start a new year at Hogwarts. Expect to find 500sqm of Harry Potter-themed toys, gifts, stationery, costumes, homewares and apparel – plus a Platform 9 3⁄4 photo opportunity!

Opening on the basement level of Myer Melbourne on Bourke Street, the store will also sell tickets to the smash hit play Harry Potter & The Cursed Child. On opening day, the cast from the Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will perform ‘WAND DANCE’ – a musical excerpt from the award-winning stage play on Bourke Street Mall outside Myer.

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October, between 10am – 4pm, Harry Potter at Myer will be packed with several activities for everyone, including Harry Potter inspired face painting and colouring in for kids, and exciting product demonstrations perfect for Christmas gift ideas.

The store is set to be open until the end of 2020.
