Dr Harry’s meeting some very hard workers – of the four-legged variety! Back in the 18th and 19th centuries, there were no tractors, cars or trucks – so our ancestors relied on good old-fashioned horse power to get things done. Sadly, heavy horse breeds like Clydesdales and Percherons aren’t quite as important to our everyday life these days, and many are abandoned.
