All around Australia, growing your own fresh food is making a huge comeback. Tonight, Joh meets Laurie Green, avid gardener and permaculture consultant who set up a food sharing community called Crop Swap Australia – where Aussie home gardeners swap their surplus homegrown herbs, seeds, fruit and veg using a no cash marketplace. It’s an amazing initiative that encourages community connections, reduces food waste and can save you hundreds off your shopping bill. It’s so good, it even inspired local 9-year-old to run her very own Pink Pantry, swapping food from her family garden!
