- Cricut EasyPress Mini (Zen Blue)
- Cricut EasyPress Mat
- Cricut Smart Iron-On (Silver Glitter and Holographic)
- Cricut Weeding Tool
- Blank make-up case
Instructions
Step. 1
The text fonts and heart designs used for this makeup case can be found on Cricut Design Space by searching Better Homes and Gardens TV. If you wish, you can customise the fonts or designs to suit. Alternatively, upload your own designs or download your preferred option from Design Space.
Step. 2
Making sure you have mirrored your text, follow the prompts in Design Space, load your Silver Glitter smart iron-on (shiny side down) into the cutting machine, press Make it and the machine will cut the text with the fine point blade (included with your cutting machine). Repeat this step, this time using the Holographic iron-on (shiny side down) to cut and create hearts.
Step. 3
Using weeding tool, remove negative sections of iron-on to reveal the text on protective clear backing. Repeat for the hearts.
Step. 4
Go to cricut.com/heatguide or download the Cricut Heat App for optimal heat settings for the EasyPress Mini. Following the instructions and working on the Cricut EasyPress Mat, press over the clear backing to transfer the text design onto the make-up case. Remove the clear backing but retain it for use in the next step.
Step. 5
With clear backing on top, position hearts on make-up case. Cover the stuck down words with the clear backing material retained in Step 4. Heat-press hearts in place as before. When hearts are adhered, peel away the backing to reveal your customised make-up case.
