Buy a Bunnings snag on Friday and support Aussie farmers in need

Every donation makes a difference

Bunnings stores in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory will be holding a sausage sizzle on Friday August 3rd between 9am and 4pm to raise money for Buy a Bale.

Organised by Rural Aid, Buy a Bale is a campaign that aims to deliver essentials to drought-affected farmers. The Buy a Bale campaign has received more than $4.5 million in donations and distributed this through fodder, hampers and more to farmers in need. Today, Buy a Bale is a recognised name in drought assistance.

Parts of New South Wales and Queensland have been battling the effects of drought for the past seven years, with may facing ruin as a result. In fact, 98 per cent of New South Wales and around two-thirds of Queensland is in drought or is drought-affected, with pastures drying up and the cost of freight and feed increasing exponentially.
