If you loved Care Bears and My Little Ponies back in the ‘80s, now is your chance to indulge your nostalgia with Aldi’s legendary special buys next week.
The budget supermarket giant is selling a range of cult retro toys in the lead-up to Christmas, appealing to kids both young and old.
The original ‘80s toys are highly collectable, with rare Care Bears reportedly fetching over $10,000 on eBay.
Aldi is selling the pink and purple Care Bears for $19.99, along with Sesame Street favourites Elmo and Cookie Monster.
There will also be assorted My Little Pony toys, based on the original moulds from 35 years ago. The line-up includes Cotton Candy, Butterscotch, Blue Belle, Snuzzle, Minty and Blossom.
And if you missed out on a Mr or Mrs Potato Head back in your childhood, you can pick one up now for $14.99, with over 10 pieces to mix and match.
You can also stock up on stocking stuffers with a range of other retro toys, including a slinky, Rubik’s Cube set, spirograph, felt story boards and tabletop arcade games.
Get ready to join the rush next Wednesday 30 October when doors open at Aldi.
