We’re setting a reminder for Saturday 25th May with the announcement that the Aldi Special Buys sale will feature a host of fabulous gourmet cooking appliances to give your benchtops a boost in an affordable kitchen makeover.
If you’re looking for a kitchen makeover any time soon, this could be just the windfall you need to keep your costs down – prices start from $6.99 for dinnerware. Other products on offer include a premium stick mixer set for under $60.
You’ll need to bring some muscle with you however as according to Aldi, in the sale you can expect to nab a super-affordable integrated dishwasher ($399), premium espresso machine ($299) and a meat grinder for just $89.99.
What we’ll be lining up for however are the stylish benchtop appliances with a Scandi look and feel – 1.7l kettles in black and white matte finish with a timber-look base, a gourmet 4-slice toaster (also in black and white with timber-look base) and assortment of Scandi-style tableware.
Stock levels usually vary from store to store and some Aldi store managers have introduced a ticketing system to control crowds of over-zealous shoppers.
We think this might just be the sale of all sales, so be prepared to have a little competition in your quest for a cheap kitchen makeover.
Aldi Special Buys sales are notorious for the shopping frenzy they whip up, with keen shoppers lining up outside stores for hours ahead of the opening time, then joining in a stampede towards limited floor stock once doors open.
