Have you tried the new volcanic chocolate KitKat?

KitKat is a chocolate that has a strong presence in pop culture.  The ‘have a break, have a KitKat’ slogan is seared into the minds of all ‘90s kids, and the brand has tried all sorts of flavour combinations, from ruby cocoa beans to red velvet, caramel and cookies and cream. However, KitKat’s latest limited edition chocolate flavour is an unusual yet luxurious creation.

KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Volcanic chocolate is the newset range to the confectioners stable and it is made with cocoa cultivated only in the volcanic island of Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the Philippines. The chocolate claims to be rich in nutrients thanks to the presence of volcanic ash, while the growing conditions in the areas the cocoa was sourced from is supposed to give the cocoa a uniquely fruity and bitter taste. In fact, According to the KitKat website, this type of cocoa is so rare, it accounts for just 0.2% of the world’s cocoa production.

The bars in the range starts at $5 and raise to $45 for a sublime volcanic selection 12 piece 132g box, but you can onlybuy the range online or from the KitKat chocolate boutique in Melbourne.
