Octopus door

Set the scene for your spooky party with an entrance adorned with a creepy creature of the deep! - by Better Homes and Gardens
  • 05 Jun 2018
Octopus door

We made an octopus with colourful tentacles but you can do whatever you like. You can use the supplies listed for the photo booth project, including any leftover Corflute. Another option is to use cardboard, but Corflute paints really well, making it great for this project.

Stephen Pollitt

Here’s how

STEP 1 Use the template (on page 2) to trace the octopus shape onto a sheet of Corflute and cut out using scissors and a utility knife.

STEP 2 Use a roller to paint head and legs, let dry, then use paintbrushes to paint tentacles and suckers.

STEP 3 Paint eyes, using a black texta for the pupils. When dry, use loops of cloth tape to stick up around the door.
