Vampire goodie bags

There’s no need to go batty when preparing for your party, as these toothy goodie bags are easy to make and will keep little monsters happy. - by Better Homes and Gardens

Vampire goodie bags

Gather your supplies

  • Black cardboard
  • White card
  • Resealable clear plastic bags
  • Assorted lollies
  • Stick-on joggle eyes

You’ll also need

Ruler; pencil; scissors; glue; double-sided tape

Here’s how

STEP 1 Measure and mark a 29 x 10cm rectangle with rounded top on black cardboard. Mark fold lines as shown on template (on page 2). Cut out goodie bag.

STEP 2 Use template to trace bat wings shape onto cardboard and cut out. Cut out 2 small triangles from white card for each goodie bag.

STEP 3 Follow fold lines to create goodie bag with a flat base.

STEP 4 Attach goodie bag to bat wings using glue or tape.

STEP 5 Fill plastic bags with lollies and attach to inside of goodie bag with tape.

STEP 6 Fold up goodie bag around lolly bag and secure envelope-style opening with glue. Before glue sets, slide white triangles underneath for fangs.

STEP 7 Attach joggle eyes to front of goodie bags and arrange in tray.
