A Japanese festival is coming to Sydney
It’s that time of year again where fans of Japanese cuisine and culture can stuff themselves silly, chowing down on gyoza and sake.
The Matsuri Japan Festival is returning to Sydney in December for a free one-day event.
Held every year, the event was created to celebrate Japanese culture through live entertainment, workshops and most importantly - food stalls.
According to the website, Matsuri was founded back in 2006, “to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Japan and Australia’s friendship. Since then, Sydney’s Japanese community has been working hard to host a traditional style Matsuri, making this event a Summer staple for Sydneysiders.”
For more information, including a list of performers, food and liquor outlets making an appearance on the day, visit the website.
