Those who are gluten intolerant could suffer allergic reactions if the product is consumed. The recall is for products labelled as gluten free chicken schnitzels and has been on sale since Friday March 29, with a best before date of April 8.
The recall is due to incorrect packaging (Southern Style Tenders were packaged incorrectly in Gluten Free Schnitzel labelled tray) which has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergen – gluten.
Ingham’s urges anyone who has purchased this product to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
