Ikea x Adidas
This collaboration is all about examining how homes can enable active lifestyles. The collection wil be entirely designed by women as Ikea research has uncovered women are the most time poor and likely to exercise at home, rather than a gym. In the first stage of the collaboration IKEA and adidas will spend time in the homes of people in different countries and life stages, with a particular focus on young women in order to learn more about how people live.
“Our goal is to make sport accessible to everyone. Working with IKEA, we’ll look at why some people are more active than others, especially young women, and explore what role the home can play in removing barriers to fitness”, says Josefine Aberg, VP of Design at adidas.
Ikea x Sonos
Sonos is launching SYMFONISK – an all new sound range that marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between Sonos and IKEA. This range is all about creating a great atmosphere at home with great design, music and sound. This will be available early 2019 and includes a wi-fi speaker than works with existing Sonos speakers as well.
Ikea x Lego
This collaboration is all about encouraging more play at home, and allowing children to be more creative, to experiment and to dream. Look out for it in the kids section. This collection will launch within the next few years.
Ikea x Byredo
Byredo has a cult following in beauty circles and their scents are truly unique. The range is expected to hit stores next year and it won’t just be a range of scented candles.
