The tool is a 23-minute hypnotherapy session that claims to make you forget any TV show so you can watch it again as if it were for the first time.
‘Unspoil Me’ was launched to promote Samsung’s new QLED TV, which boasts superior picture quality.
The self-guided hypnotherapy is a digital audio experience, led by certified hypnotists Ulf Sandström and Fredrik Praesto.
According to the website, the hypnotherapy will only work if you’re uninterrupted during the experience.
“Once you’ve completed the hypnosis it’s recommended that you get one
night's sleep, before you watch you favorite TV series for the first time again,” the website states, “in order for your brain to integrate the hypnosis with the rest of your body.”
It further explains that “Unspoil Me is designed to give you the possibility to forget a TV series, movie or video. You won’t forget anything you don’t want to.”
"You can go through the hypnosis for each TV series, movie or video you’d like to forget.
“Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and is done on your terms,” the website states. It’s up to you if and when you’d like to cancel."
The site warns that people with a mental illness or epilepsy should not have the hypnosis.
