If you live in an apartment without access to space for a garden, there’s one type of plant that’s often overlooked.
Aquatic plants are a great way to bring greenery indoors minus the mess of soil and having to remember to water them.
In her book Houseplants, Isabelle Palmer explains aquatic plants are those that can survive in water.
The plants can be anchored in glass bowls or vases with bark and rocks. Adding fish is also an option.
Although these plants don’t require soil or watering, the water does need to be changed regularly and the glass cleaned.
