We all know mixing water and flour makes glue substance; meaning removing the excess from your bench with a wet cloth isn’t the best option.
Resist the temptation to attack leftover piles of flour with water and instead scrape it up with a bench scraper. If you don’t have one available, a spatula, credit card or piece of cardboard should also do the trick.
Once the bulk of the flour has been removed from the bench, can wipe it down with a cool, damp dishcloth.
