It can be frustrating to constantly have to wash them when you wear them on most days.
According to Rachel McQueen, a Ph.D. at the University of Alberta in Canada you are actually wise not to wash them regularly.
Washing them too often can cause the material to deteriorate faster, especially with cotton.
The only downside is that your beloved pair can begin to produce odour after multiple usage. Just be wary when they are due for a wash as it can range from weeks to months before having to wash them.
Another tip to make them last longer is to hang them in your wardrobe rather than in a drawer.
