Here’s a spin on Tudor style we would never expect to see. The tiny house movement has left no architectural stone unturned with this scaled-down version of a classic Tudor masterpiece.
This petite heritage-style home is the brainchild of Tiny Heirloom, who specialise in the design of luxurious small homes.
The unusual residence features all of the hallmarks of Tudor architecture with its distinctive half-timbered exterior and steeply pitched roofline.
“The exterior of [owner] Jenn’s house was very important to her,” Tiny Heirloom told Apartment Therapy. “She wanted it to look and feel like you were back in time whenever you laid eyes on it. So together, we drew inspiration from…different architecture but decided Tudor was the best fit. It’s such a unique style but it really finished off the design quite perfectly.”
Granite benchtops and a hammered copper sink are showcased in the kitchen, while a copper clawfoot tub presides over the bathroom.
The 20 square metres house measures 7.3 metres long and 2.6 metres wide, and reaches its highest point at 4.1 metres.
