- If you’re working with patterns, have a large solid cushion in one colour, and then a medium scale pattern, and then a small pattern in a smaller cushion and that way that’s not too overwhelming for the eyes.
- When working with all neutrals, break it up. For example, with striped cushions also add in a plain white one which not only adds a pop of brightness but helps to define the colours in the other cushions.
- For practical options, a lumbar cushion is excellent for lower back support.
