  • Heavy body acrylic has a higher viscosity than liquid paint, giving you a nice thick texture and meaning you only need one coat on the eggs.

Use a paintbrush to paint the interior of the papier mâché eggs white. Leave to dry.

Apply a coat of heavy body acrylic to outside of eggs using a paintbrush. Hang up to let paint dry.

Fill base of painted cracked eggs with shredded tissue paper. Position fuzzy chicks in eggs on tissue paper nests.

Add a few mini chocolate eggs to each egg nest, nestled around base of fuzzy chicks.
