Thankfully, keeping your kitchen free from clutter just got a whole lot simpler with these three golden rules.
Don’t keep doubles, spares or extras of anything
Do you have more mugs than you know what to do with? Sell, donate or give away any doubles you have taking up extra space on your shelves.
Organise food so you can see it
Organise your fridge and cupboards so you can see what items you have at a glance. Not knowing what’s in your cupboard increases the chance of buying something you already have, as well as the likeliness of wasting food.
Think about what you use the most
Arrange your kitchen to suit your needs. Placing a large kitchen item that you never use on the counter doesn’t make sense, so pack away things you don’t use very often. It’s also a good idea to evaluate what appliances you have and if you really need them.
