What is your favourite food and why?
That's a tough one! But Indian cuisine is my favourite for the aromatic flavours and liberal use of vegetables. I love my veggies and big spice factor! This is closely followed by Turkish and Japanese.
What are you passionate about?
Baking homemade treats for loved ones and sharing in delicious memories. I'm also very passionate about education, life-long learning and environmental sustainability. Nature is a constant source of inspiration for me!
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Tokyo, Japan and in particular Harajuku.
Who inspires you the most?
In terms of my own home-baking hobby, Nigella Lawson inspires me with her enthusiasm, passion and of course for her effortlessly, sumptuous dishes.
Who would you invite to a dinner party?
Adriano Zumbo, Sean Micallef and Lee Lin Chin. I'm afraid I'd be too sheepish to have Nigella over for dinner!
What are you reading at the moment?
I'm slowly and hungrily making my way through Larousse Gastronomique.
Best advice you have ever received?
Don't ever look down on a someone unless you are helping them up. My Mum taught me this very special pearl of wisdom.
Who are you following on instagram or twitter?
Christine McConnell, Cédric Grolet, David Chow and Lello Pepper.
Favourite movie or television program?
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the 1971 version.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
The ability to instill in people absolute empathy. Well, and super-human strength...I think everybody wants that.
