Kai Sakakibara’s story captured the nation last year when this emerging BMX star crashed in the lead up to the Olympics. His family rode a rollercoaster of emotions when Kai’s sister Saya qualified for the Olympics and then crashed during the event. Now, with Kai requiring more accessibility as he recovers from his injuries and the family wanting a space they can all enjoy, Joh and Charlie are going to redesign their incredibly steep backyard into a tiered entertaining space, perfect for family and friends to celebrate all of life’s precious moments.
