Pizza chain, Domino’s has launched a brand new meaty pizza range with a catch. There’s no beef.

Vegan pizza lovers in Australia and New Zealand can now enjoy all their favourite traditionally meat-heavy pizzas like supreme, cheeseburger and more with a plant-based alternative instead, Impossible™ Beef.
Impossible™ Beef, an animal-free product from California-based company Impossible Food is gluten-free, halal and kosher-certified, and delivers 18.8 grams of protein per each 113-gram serving. It’s already established a following in the US and is now slowly making its way onto Aussie shores.

Domino’s Chief Marketing Officer Adam Ballesty shared that the Impossible™ Beef pizza topping has all the flavour and texture of juicy, authentic minced beef, but with far less environmental impact.
As well as encouraging customers to consider their environmental impact, Domino’s is working with Wavemaker to carbon-offset its digital media buying by implementing first-of-its-kind technology.
History of World Vegan Day
Although veganism and vegan recipes only seem to be coming into mainstream media as of late, World Vegan Day actually first occurred on November 1st, 1994 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UK Vegan Society and the term “vegan”. The Vegan Society was actually established back in November of 1944, but the exact date is unknown.
