1 sheet frozen ready-rolled puff pastry, partially thawed
1 free-range egg, lightly beaten
Dried Italian herbs
Sea-salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper, to season
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C fan-forced (200 degrees C conventional). Line an oven tray with baking paper.
Using a soup spoon as a guide, cut out 6 spoon shapes from pastry and arrange in a single layer on prepared tray. Brush pastry with a little egg, then scatter sesame seeds and herbs over the top. Season and bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of your spoons, until pastry is golden. Serve.
