While you might not give much thought to the brand behind your favourite alcoholic beverage, your small purchase can make a big difference for some really great charities.
So why not make your next drink be one for a good cause. Here’s five drink companies that donate to charity.
Sit Stay Society Wines x Pet Rescue
Sit Stay Society Wines has just launched its brand-new range: the Big Dogs – with.50c from every bottle purchased going to animal welfare organisation PetRescue. To date, Sit Stay Society has raised more than $200,000 for PetRescue.
The new full-sized (and full-bodied) Big Dog range aims to raise awareness for the bigger dogs in need of loving homes, as according to Pet Rescue’s data, bigger breeds take 58% longer than small dogs to find a new home once they arrive in shelters or foster care.
Howard Park Wines’ Arbor Novae Collection x Carbon Positive Australia
Howard Park Wines' new range was created in partnership with Carbon Positive Australia. Arbor Novae means “new trees” in Latin and the winery will donate $1.50 of every bottle sold to environmental charity Carbon Positive Australia. Over the last 20 years, the charity has restored degraded lands throughout Australia by planting six million trees and capturing 665,921 tonnes of carbon.
The Arbor Novae range will be available to Howard Park wine club members. Fine out more here.
Taylors Wines x Sydney Institute of Marine Science
Since 2020, Taylors has worked alongside the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) to help save the declining population of endangered White’s Seahorses that call Sydney Harbour home. Together, SIMS and Taylors Wines have raised over $27,000 for the SeaBnB project.
