Use any leftover concrete mix to create smaller sculptural shapes you can sprinkle around the garden. You’ll need disposable rubber gloves, a carving tool (or old screwdriver) and an old paintbrush.
Or if decorations aren't your thing and you'd like something more stylised, try these simple boulders...
Allow concrete to set a little until it reaches a mouldable texture. Wearing rubber gloves, use your hands to form a ball about the size and shape of a lawn bowl.
Use carving tool to mark a spiral shape, beginning at top and working your way around and out. Carve out line until approx. 1cm deep.
Use paintbrush to remove lumps and smooth finish. Allow to set overnight.
Tip: Turn it into a tea light holder by carving out a hole in the centre top for a candle to sit in.
