Now, shoppers who belong to eBay’s member ship program, eBay Plus, will receive five per cent of every shop as well as $49 off their first shop over $99.
Coles on eBay is also adding delivery windows to the offering, allowing shoppers to have items delivered to their door within a chosen time frame.
Senior Director, B2C and Advertising, Kristian Haigh, says, “We’re seeing shopping needs change as Australians look for greater convenience. Coles on eBay shoppers prefer to shop during evenings, with Tuesday at 9pm the most common time. The most popular items have been bulk-sized essentials such as coffee and rice, as well as nappies and soft drinks. The addition of fresh and frozen food including everything from milk to bread, means customers can now do their full grocery shop on eBay from the comfort of their own couch.”
Coles Online Chief Executive Alister Jordan says, “We want to inspire our customers, through best value food and drink solutions to make their lives easier.
“We know convenience and health are a priority, with Coles customers increasingly seeking to reclaim their time, with minimum compromise on freshness, quality, and flavour.
“By enhancing our partnership with eBay, we are enabling anytime, anywhere shopping, providing our customers another convenient way to access our products and have them delivered straight to their door at a time that works for them.”
eBay Plus members will continue to enjoy free delivery on orders over $49 as well as double flybuys points. There’s also a free 30-day trial for new members.
Coles on eBay is available to shoppers in metropolitan Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with products at the same national in-store prices including Coles weekly half price deals.
